Café Kumbuk opened in 2015 in a leafy little house on Thambiah Avenue, off Independence Avenue, and is a favourite for breakfast, brunch, salads and coffee before or after the Independence Memorial Hall and the Arcade. Check opening days before you go: it closes one day a week.
