About Viharamahadevi Park
Viharamahadevi Park, named after a queen of ancient Ruhuna, is the green heart of Colombo 7. Shady paths, fountains and a large seated Buddha make it a pleasant break between the National Museum and the design shops, and the white Town Hall stands at its northern end. It is busiest in the late afternoon, when families come to escape the heat.
