About National Hospital of Sri Lanka
Founded in 1864 as the General Hospital, the National Hospital of Sri Lanka in Colombo is the country’s largest hospital, with more than 3,000 beds. It is run by the government; most visitors use the private hospitals, but it is the main state hospital for serious emergencies.
