Jetwing Lighthouse was designed by Geoffrey Bawa and stands on the rocks by the ocean just outside Galle. The entrance stair, with its bronze sculpture of a battle scene by Laki Senanayake, is one of the great moments of Bawa’s architecture. Galle Fort is a short drive away.
