Hideaway has welcomed guests to Arugam Bay for nearly 50 years. At the roadside entrance, under a leafy canopy, its courtyard café Hideaway Blue serves breakfast and lunch; in the evening the Hideaway Restaurant has a fusion menu with Pacific Rim, Mediterranean and Asian influences, and the bar fills up at dusk. Book dinner in high season.
