About Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is the liveliest beach town on the west coast, with surf breaks, a shallow coral reef protected as the Hikkaduwa National Park, and a long strip of restaurants and bars. Sea turtles are often seen near the reef; watch them from a distance and never feed or touch them. Best from about November to April.
