Nuga Gama
Village feast in the city

About Nuga Gama
Nuga Gama, “the village of the nuga tree”, is an open-air restaurant built as a traditional village in the grounds of the Cinnamon Grand. Clay pots, thatched huts and a huge banyan tree set the scene for a spread of Sri Lankan food: rice and curry, sambols, hoppers made to order and village-style sweets. It is one of the easiest places in Colombo to try many dishes in one evening.
