Ritigala
Ruins in the jungle
About Ritigala
Ritigala is a mountain rising from the plains, its slopes protected as a strict nature reserve. On its lower slopes lie the ruins of an ancient forest monastery: stone paths, bathing ponds and meditation platforms in the shade of the jungle. Few visitors come, which makes it one of the most atmospheric sites in the Triangle.
