About Stilt fishermen of Koggala and Ahangama

Stilt fishing, with fishermen sitting on a crossbar tied to a pole in the shallow surf, is a tradition of the coast between Koggala and Ahangama. Today many of the men you see by the road pose for photographs and ask for a payment, so agree on it before you shoot; the early morning is the best time to see fishing.
