About Pigeon Island National Park
Pigeon Island National Park is one of Sri Lanka’s marine parks: two small islands off Nilaveli with coral and reef fish, and blacktip reef sharks are sometimes seen. Boats leave from Nilaveli beach in the east-coast season. Do not stand on or touch the coral, and use reef-safe sun cream.
